Immerse yourself in the underwater world of the mysterious manta rays! Join the Lemon Bay Coastal Seminar Series tomorrow, Thursday, February 22nd, at the Cape Haze Community Center. Join renowned manta ray expert Jessica Pate, Lead Scientist of The Florida Manta Project, as she unveils the captivating secrets of these gentle giants in her presentation “The Mysterious Manta Rays of Florida.” Known simply as “Giant Manta Rays,” they are the world’s largest rays, with wingspans reaching up to 30 feet! They gracefully glide through Florida’s offshore waters. While not as commonly seen as other Florida marine life, they are truly a sight to behold.
The seminars take place at the Cape Haze Community Center with refreshments at 5:30 PM and the presentation at 6PM.
